This policy explains what Decisive Finance collects, how we use it, and your rights over it.
What we collect
Email addresses. If you subscribe to the newsletter, download the Walking Dead Self-Assessment, or download the Recovery Checklist, we collect your email address. You provide it directly.
Booking details. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly provides us your name, email address, and any scheduling notes you include. Calendly is the processor; their privacy policy governs that handoff.
Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregate traffic data (pages, referrers, devices). No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
Server logs. Standard access logs (IP, user agent, URL) are retained by Cloudflare for a short period for security monitoring. Not used for advertising.
What we do with it
- Send you the content you signed up for (field notes, checklists, assessment follow-ups).
- Respond when you contact us.
- Coordinate booked calls.
- Improve the site based on aggregate analytics.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
Processors only:
- Email service provider (Beehiiv). Stores your email address and sends the newsletter and sequences.
- Calendly. Handles call scheduling.
- Cloudflare. Hosts the site and provides analytics.
Each is contractually obligated to handle your data under this policy. We do not use any processor for advertising purposes.
How long we keep it
- Email addresses: as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email. We honor unsubscribe requests immediately.
- Booking details: as long as is needed to coordinate and follow up on the engagement, then archived in encrypted storage.
- Analytics: aggregated indefinitely; no personal identifiers.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Ask us what we have on file for you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in every email.
If you are in California (CCPA) or the EU/UK (GDPR), you have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. Exercise any of these by emailing contact@decisive.finance.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and note the change.
